Scrapability’s Scrap Blog of the Week -Week 7 2006 : Altered Scrappers

Altered Scrappers is a new group blog by a bunch of UK Scrappers, doing altered in a fantastic way. This is a simple blogger account - many people don’t realise the potential of any blogging software, but these ladies did - you can set up group logons and create a community site. And this one is a simple example of that.

Altered objects and art are posted as photos onto the blog, with commentary by the participants in this collaboration. Readers get a chance to post their own also - there is an email link to send your own creations to, or you can simply leave links to your own blog in the comments fields. And unlike some others using Blogger accounts, the comments fields allow for other blogging credentials or anonymous comments - allowing you to post without the need for a personal website address.

There are challenges also, for any readers. But mostly, it’s a great blog to go to when in search for a little altered inspiration as you go, and a great set of altered scrappers from the UK.
