    This idea came from Melody M Nunez, who had her memory Jars idea published in an article entitled "Time in a Bottle" in the June/July 2005 edition of Legacy Art Magazine.

    A 20 week class where we were sent out weekly prompts, and had an online gallery to upload our scans and comment. Run by Shimelle Laine, this ran from 1st May 2005. My own entries are a combination of traditional messy pages, and digitals.
     

  • Square Pegs Focus Group (4)

    In the pits of feeling sorry for myself, along came an Artella Focus group, to try out an ecourse - one on celebrating my own square-peg-edness. These drawings and layouts are the direct result of being involved with this group in late April 2005

    These are basically created using the ATC Studio function available in the EZine: Paperpourri. I just added images and the odd title etc inside a photo editor.

    A Mail Art Email class run by Shimelle through April and May 2005, with 45 participants in it, and several different challenges or types of mail art to prepare and send out.

    These are my day by day entries inspired from an online class again run by Shimelle Laine, over Christmas 2004. Each day we were challenged to look into our christmas and various traditions, and document these in an art journal. Eventually I was forced to give up with the daily challenges, but took all notes with the intention to create a full and wonderful christmas scrapbook album for the next year.

  • Guidewords Collage (6)

    These collages were formed on dictionary pages. They were the outcome of a fantastic online class run by Shimelle Laine, in August 2004. Shimelle led a group of keen ladies through creating these collages, via instructional emails and an online yahoo group. the principles were to base your collage on one dictionary definition or "guideword" and use techniques to define this word for yourself. I later applied this dictionary page collage to several other projects.
